In October 2024, the Polestar 4 made its debut, introducing the world’s first passenger car without a rear window—arguably its most talked-about design feature. With its new wide-angle camera, it unlocked a world of possibilities, redefining how we perceive and navigate our surroundings. Our goal was to highlight this innovation with a campaign unlike any other—one captured entirely by the Polestar 4 itself in Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia.

We open with a shot of the "rearview mirror" of a Polestar 4, reflecting another Polestar 4. The camera zooms in, then cuts to the front of the car in the reflection.
Throughout the film, we see "impossible" angles—shots that appear to be taken by a drone. In the end, it’s revealed that every shot was actually filmed by another Polestar 4.
To showcase the uniqueness of the idea, we’ll release a BTS film, demonstrating how we worked with camera angles. This will provide additional screen time for the new car. At the same time, a director/DoP gets the opportunity to discuss the camera technology to highlight the innovation.
